Charlotte Dawson shares diagnosis on baby son after he's rushed to hospital
Charlotte Dawson has shared a heartbreaking update on her three-month-old son Jude after he was rushed to A&E on Thursday night.
The former Celebs Go Dating star, 31, shared the update as she revealed that her son has been diagnosed with RSV bronchitis. Sharing the update with her concerned fans, Charlotte took to Instagram as she posted a snap of her baby son. Alongside the snap, she wrote: "Thank you so much for all your messages on my beautiful baby boy.. Didn't want to put anything on until I knew what it was. He had RSV bronchitis, Thankgod we came in when we did. So heartbreaking seeing him like this. We are in here for a few days he is now hopefully on the mend.”
"Last night was very scary and traumatic and very emotional. The mum-of-two said that she herself hasn’t been feeling well recently and visited the doctors on Monday along with Jude, where they told her he was a bit 'chesty'.
Charlotte said that her baby boy then began 'screaming in the night' and she became terrified. Charlotte then decided to bring her baby to hospital, where he will now have to stay for a number of days.
The reality TV star, who has appeared on Ex on the Beach, reposted an image on her Instagram stories, which was originally shared by fiancé Matt Sarsfield. He captioned the picture: “My little man not well. Love you Charlotte." Responding to the post, the 31-year-old said: "My poor baby. What an emotional traumatic 24 hours.. in safe hands now."
Greggs, Costa & Pret coffees have 'huge differences in caffeine', says reportCharlotte, who is the daughter of the late comedian, Les Dawson, and Matt welcomed their son in July. The TV star is also mum to son Noah. It comes after the mother revealed she's been having a stressful week after her baby fell ill. In a post shared on Monday afternoon, she said: "Hi my darlings, I finally feel ready to post this.. I mean I don’t know when there is a good time to post this."
She continued: "It’s been an extremely tough week mentally but also obviously physically… I am heartbroken beyond words.. and I know I’m never quiet on here, & always so open and honest with you guys so it’s been a shock to you all.. Noah was rushed to the hospital last week after he banged his head and cheek on a table leg and passed out. He was eventually given the all-clear to return home later.
Opening up about her devastating miscarriage, Charlotte said: "I keep getting lots & lots of messages worrying about us all, asking why I’m being quiet & if Noah is ok.. Noah is absolutely fine.. he’s amazing. I’m the one that’s not ok.. unfortunately I’ve suffered with a miscarriage.
"Obviously our families & close friends have known about me being pregnant, but didn’t announce anything until I got further down the line..I was so excited to share our happy news with you all. Noah’s little brother or little sister, as you can imagine Matthew & I were absolutely over the moon our little family was going to be growing. I also found out on Mother’s Day which was just so special."
"But sometimes it’s just not meant to be, I really thought it was but it just wasn’t this time. Miscarriages are so common & not spoken about enough. We are so heartbroken right now, have no words and just don’t feel up to posting being my happy silly self right now.”
