Amber Heard seen holding daughter as she hobbles on crutches after accident
Amber Heard was seen holding her rarely-seen daughter as she hobbled on crutches after a major accident.
The 37-year-old actress welcomed daughter Oonagh Paige via surrogate in 2021, and decided to relocate to Spain last year after her brutal defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp. Amber has now settled in Madrid, and she was spotted hobbling around the city’s streets with her daughter, sister Whitney Henriquez and her sister’s young children. Last month, Amber reportedly hurt her hip in a freak accident while training for the upcoming New York Marathon, and has been using crutches and walking aids ever since. Her spokesperson told Page Six that she would still be taking part in the annual event, which is held in November.
The Aquaman star looked laidback as she kept a close eye on her two-year-old daughter, and accessorised her relaxed outfit with a black walking stick. Wearing a black camisole and loose fitting mom-style jeans, she finished off the outfit with a pair of designer sandals, and her blonde hair scooped up into a messy bun. Oonagh was also seen rocking a similar look to her mum, and her blonde tresses looked adorable to two cute messy buns atop her head.

Throughout their outing to the local playground, Amber clutched her toddler daughter’s hand tightly, and even carried her for a short time on her hip despite using the walking aid. She was also spotted pushing her sister’s pushchair, and entertained her nephew as they walked home from the playground.
Johnny Depp's first wife brands Amber Heard 'horrific' in rare interviewAmber announced the arrival of her daughter in July 2021, three months after Oonagh was born via surrogate. The actress, who had previously been married to Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny until they bitterly split in 2016, explained her decision to have a child “on her own terms” in an emotional post revealing news of her new arrival. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms,” she began.
“I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. I hope we arrive at a point in which it's normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib. A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone's business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this,” The Rum Diary star continued.
Amber has given her fans regular updates on motherhood on social media, and in one post, she alluded to being a single parent in a touching caption. “I'm just the mom and the dad. She's the boss,” she captioned a photo of her and baby Oonagh working on her laptop. Following the intense scrutiny after the infamous defamation trial last year, Amber relocated from the US to Mallorca, where she reportedly rented an apartment using a pseudonym - she and Oonagh later settled on a residence in an exclusive neighbourhood in Madrid.
