Louise Redknapp is said to be "really relying" on her new boyfriend for "support" after Eternal fall out.

The mum-of-two has recently been involved in a feud with her former Eternal bandmates, sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, due to their refusal to play at LBGTQ+ gigs during their upcoming reunion tour. Louise and bandmate Kelle Bryan were said to have pulled out of the reunion over their bandmates transphobic views.

The 48-year-old is said to be heartbroken by the situation and has been turning to her new boyfriend for comfort. The star recently announced that she was in a new relationship after being spotted out and about with businessman and Chief Executive Officer at Overwatch Group, Drew Michael.

Louise was photographed with Drew for the first time last month leaving the Groucho Club in London’s Soho. Louise appeared on Loose Women when she was asked about her new love interest.

She said: "I’m very happy. He’s great and lovely. It’s just nice, it’s been a really long time for me. I’ve been on my own for a long time. So, it’s lovely to have met somebody that makes me so happy".

A source has now claimed to OK! magazine: "Louise is really relying on Drew at the moment and she’s very thankful she’s got him by her side. It took a while to find him but she’s finally happy and comfortable to be seen with him, and she really needs his support at the moment."

Louise pulled out of the upcoming reunion last week, along with fellow band member Kelle Bryan. This came after it was claimed Vernie and Easther had made assertions about the gay community being "hijacked" by the transgender movement.

Not long after, Louise was accused by the group’s former manager Denis Ingoldsby of "throwing her bandmates under the bus" by saying she wouldn't do the tour. The source added: "Louise has received a lot of backlash from this. Her relationship with Vernie and Easther won’t be the same again. She’s relying on new guy Drew, and he really stepped up to the mark for her, which is a good sign."

Vernie broke her silence after taking to Instagram to share a statement which read: "I am 'Eternally' grateful for the family, friends, and amazing fans who have and continue to support our incredible journey and artistry.

"I've been blessed to connect with so many diverse and wonderful people from all walks of life during my career. You all have a piece of my heart. Though it is impossible and counterproductive to respond to the overwhelming number of statements and allegations made online recently, I place this moment in God's hands. I truly appreciate all who continue to express love and support for my family and Eternal."

While Kelle said: "Opportunities to reunite for an Eternal reunion tour with the girls has been discussed many times over the years. As mothers, the right opportunity and timing for all of our schedules have been tricky to arrange.

"The relationship with our fans and the joy of celebrating our success was, and still is, my motivation. My stance and allegiances have always been that I am an advocate for inclusion and equality for all. Thank you for your continued support over three decades. God bless, Kelle x."

Louise shared an image of a trans-inclusive Pride flag on Twitter and captioned it with the message "Always & Forever".
