KSI hits out at rival Jake Paul for deleting tweet about Tommy Fury fight

KSI has trolled long-time rival Jake Paul for deleting a tweet about the legitimacy of his upcoming boxing fight with Tommy Fury at Manchester's AO Arena.

The YouTube duo have been feuding for years, with the latest twist being Paul claiming that KSI's bout with Fury is little more than an 'exhibition' due to being sanctioned by the PBA and not the British Boxing Board of Control. Since the initial claims from Paul and his business partner Nakisa Bidarian, Misfits Boxing have pushed to make the fight a full professional contest recognised on BoxRec.

And KSI mocked Paul for deleting one message asking about bookies' in America taking bets on the fight, which they now are given the bout's status as a full professional contest. The American, whose brother Logan fights in the joint main event, had questioned the gambling logistics, but removed the post shortly after.

"KSI not ony ducks me in the ring but he's now ducking me in a chat room," Paul wrote after being removed from a virtual face-off between KSI and Fury on Adin Ross' livestream. "And please someone show me what legit legalised sportsbook in the US is taking bets on Tommy vs KSI? You can't, because it's not a real fight."

When it was revealed that the likes of DraftKings and Stake were taking bets on the event, KSI reposted the deleted tweet with the caption " Jake Paul deleted the tweet cos he found out he was wrong lol." After the fact, BoxRec added the fight to their official professional records, which led to KSI sharing a video in a BoxRec t-shirt laughing at the camera.

Paul has history with Fury, fighting the Manchester native in February in Saudi Arabia. The fight drew a massive pay-per-view audience of more than 800,000 people, but saw the American suffer his first loss as a professional boxer as he was defeated by split decision over eight rounds.

KSI will compete over a shorter duration against his fellow Brit, opting to only take on six rounds due to being less experienced and moving up in weight for the contest. Fury is an heavy favourite, but it is believed that KSI has the power to land a stunning knockout and upset the odds.
