An incredibly cringey clip shows Nigel Farage and Priti Patel dancing and fist pumping during the annual Tory party conference.

The ex-UKIP leader and former Home Secretary were filmed busting out the moves together to the Frankie Valli song Can't Take My Eyes Off You at the Hilton Hotel in Deansgate, Manchester. The clip was shot during a boozy bash - put on by GB News - at the conference at the Manchester Central Convention Complex - which started on Sunday and ends tomorrow (October 4).

In another video, he is seen laughing along as Ms Patel performs Robbie Williams' Angels in karaoke. It comes after Ms Patel praised Mr Farage and his GB News channel, calling it a "defender of free speech" as she thanked staff for "absolutely everything they do".

Mr Farage, 59 - who also previously fronted the Brexit Party - is attending the conference on a media pass. It is his first attendance for a decade, having quit the party 30 years ago over support for the Maastricht Treaty. However, it seems he has been getting chummy with some Tories in recent days, leading to some calls for him to re-join the party.

The controversial broadcaster had been front and centre at a rally led by ex-PM Liz Truss at the conference yesterday. Ms Truss used the Great British Growth Rally to demand tax cuts as well as cuts to household bills and a surge in housebuilding to help kickstart economic revival. Mr Farage - who was donning Union Jack socks - said he agreed with her "100 percent", adding her catastrophic mini-Budget last year "played all the right notes, just in the wrong order".

He told the Telegraph: "I think what they did to her was a huge, huge mistake. It's policy that interests me. I think this woman has shown that she's able to stand up, take the abuse and fight for what she believes in." He later tweeted: "A huge buzz at the Great British Growth rally starring Liz Truss. I think she's going to need a bigger room!"

Mr Farage was mobbed by fans when he arrived at the convention centre and refused to rule out a return to politics himself. Tim Montgomerie, a former speechwriter for William Hague who is now a columnist, tweeted: "He got quite the reception. I'm convinced party members would choose him as leader if they could."
