As there was finally an arrest in the murder of Tupac Shakure, Suge Knight announced that if he is called he will refuse to testify against the suspect Duane "Keefe D" Davis even though he was an eyewitness in the case.

In an interview with TMZ, Suge insisted that police and prosecutors are mistaken with their arrest of Keefe D and also denies the longstanding theory that Davis' late nephew Orlando Anderson was the person who shot Tupac. Of the six people involved in the shooting, four were in the shooter's car and Suge and Keefe D are the only two men still alive. Suge was inside the BMW during the 1996 night when he and Tupac were shot at.

The former CEO of Death Row Records told the news outlet that no matter what Keefe D has confessed to he will never say a bad word about the man. While Suge claimed he would never say who did fire, he said he know's it wasn't Orlando and he suggested that Keefe D also doesn't belong behind bars as well.

Suge is currently serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter after mowing down and killing Terry Carter with his pickup truck. Although he won't reveal whether Keefe D was involved in the shooting incident, he made clear that he would never wish prison on anyone.

Tupac was fatally struck by four bullets to the chest, arm and thigh at a red light outside Las Vegas' popular Club 662 at 11:15 p.m. on September 7, 1996 - 27 years ago. Several people said they witnessed the white Cadillac pull up to the right of Suge's black BMW before the shots were fired but no justice was brought to the case until now.

Last week, Keefe D was arrested and charged for the murder of Tupac after a grand jury indicted him. Police say Keefe D was in on Tupac's murder and supplied the gun used in the shooting.

Keefe D has been open about his alleged involvement in the rapper's murder for years, previously sitting down for interviews and even writing his own book about the night titled "Compton Street Legend." Sources have claimed that Keefe D allegedly bragged about his involvement in the case and previously admitted that he provided the gun that was used in the drive-by shooting.

A source told the US Sun: "He felt that the police were never going to take action against him two decades after the killing" claiming that before Keefe D was arrested he said: "The police ain't gonna do s**t."

In Keefe D's book, he implicated that Orlando was the one who shot Tupac. Earlier in the night, Orlando and Tupac were involved in an altercation at the MGM Grand Hotel along with other members of their crews. But Orlando denied having anything to do with the death of the rapper and died two years later in a shootout in Compton, California.
