The adult sons of former James Bond icon Sir Roger Moore stepped out on Monday evening to attend an event ahead of an auction of the late actor's collection of memorabilia.

The British actor, who died the age of 89 in 2017, is best known for playing the 007 agent the most times. Roger portrayed Bond seven times between 1973 and 1985, before being replaced by Timothy Dalton in the legendary role.

He is survived by his two grown up sons, Geoffrey and Christian, and daughter, Deborah, all of whom he shares with his third wife, Luisa Mattioli. Now 57 and married to Loulou, Geoffrey looks notably similar to his late moviestar father with his deep tan and full head of dark hair.

Christian, 50, has also clearly inherited Roger's striking looks, sporting equally lush locks and and a distinctively strong jawline. Both sons followed in their father footsteps in showbiz, with Geoffrey pursuing music and his younger brother going down the acting and directing road. He is best known for his work on Monarch of the Moon (2005), The Gold Bracelet (2006) and Light from the East (2005).

“A father, a friend, debonair movie star and ambassador was Roger, all four seasons all in one day,” Geoffrey said in honour of his late dad at last night's swish event, which was also attended by Bond producer Barbara Broccoli. A number of photos paying tribute to Roger were displayed throughout the venue, which also featured a bar serving the secret agent's signature drink, the humble martini.

The collection, which boasts more than 180 possessions, is estimated to be worth about £420,000 in total. Amongst the items going under the hammer were the dinner suit and the white ski suit Sir Roger Moore wore in A View To A Kill, as well as an Omega special edition 50 Years Of 007 Seamaster watch worn by the actor on screen. His Gucci contacts book, black leather jacket, gold cufflinks and multiple pieces from his art portfolio will also be up for grabs.

With the blessing of the late actor’s family, the lot will go on sale at the Bonhams auction house on October 4, in commemoration of the the 50th anniversary year of Roger's debut as James Bond in Live And Let Die. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
