These poignant pictures show a teenager and his friend killed in a triple stabbing yesterday as tributes pour in for the men.

Police were called to a street in Halifax, West Yorkshire, in the early hours of Sunday after three men had been stabbed. Two of the men, now named locally as Joshua Clark and Haider, were killed. The third victim, an 18-year-old man, has been treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Now two 18-year-old men have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody at this time. Tributes were left to both Joshua and Haider at the scene, reports Yorkshire Live.

Flowers, cards and heart-breaking messages were laid by friends and family today. Amongst the tributes were pictures of the victims, including one of Joshua Clark, which read: "In Loving Memory of Joshua Clark Meszaros Love You Forever, Auntie Maggie & Nicola xxx"

Lots of other beautiful messages were left at the scene where the two men tragically lost their lives, with one person writing: "Rest in peace my beautiful brothers." Another said: "Never forgotten Haidar + Josh" while another wrote: "I love you Haidar and Josh and I will never forget you... and you never deserved this."

West Yorkshire Police have launched a murder investigation. Speaking earlier today, Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Matt Holdsworth, said: “This is an extremely serious incident which has resulted in the death of two young men and a further man injured. We have specialist officers supporting both of their families and are determined to get answers for them and ensure that the person or people responsible are made to face justice for their actions.

“What I would ask for now is the support of the wider public in providing any information about what has taken place or the events leading up to it. I understand that people were present in the area at the time of the incident, and I would urge anyone with information, dash cam or phone footage which could be relevant to our investigation to please make contact.

"I understand people locally will be rightly concerned and I want to reassure people that we are doing everything we can to investigate all possible lines of enquiry to understand the full circumstances of what took place. There is still a significant scene in place this morning, with a smaller scene remaining while we conduct forensic enquiries. I would like to thank residents and businesses for their understanding during this time."
