Corrie star teases Peter Barlow death twist as Stephen could kill two characters

Coronation Street's Stephen Reid star Todd Boyce has teased two more characters could meet a gruesome end thanks to the killer, ahead of his exit.

It seems killer Stephen is far from giving up his villainous ways ahead of him bowing out of the ITV soap. The actor spoke to press including The Mirror ahead of his dramatic exit storyline, teasing more twists ahead. Next week, killer scenes could see murderer Stephen strike again as he's desperate to flee.

Just as his crimes are finally exposed in relation to his dodgy dealings, scams and him drugging Carla Connor with LSD, he may be about to commit another dark crime. on the street, and has targeted others too.

His killer crimes have remained under wraps, but the residents of Weatherfield finally seem to be cottoning on to what he's done, and Tim Metcalfe is keen to expose him. The decision could cost him his life though, as he becomes Stephen's next and possibly final target. But he's not the only one at risk, with actor Todd hinting Peter Barlow was in the firing line too ahead of his own departure.

Speaking at a press event, actor Todd told us of whether Stephen will kill again: "I think if anything gets in his way there’s no question, he’s got all the finesse of a bulldozer at this point he just needs to get out." On the possible victim, he said: "I think Tim and I think Peter is putting himself in a dangerous position, but Tim definitely is just in my sights. Stephen is furious with his situation so he'd kill Tim just out of anger, not even any other reason. He’s a time bomb, he’s exploding."

After Stephen's first victim Leo Thompkins’ body was found in a recent episode, the police began to investigate the disappearance of his father Teddy Thompkins. Viewers know he killed both of them, before murdering factory client Rufus Donahue. Stephen tried to bump off his partner Elaine Jones too for the insurance payout only to be rumbled by her son Tim, while no one believed his claims that he tried to steal from her especially after he accidentally attacked the villain.

But with Carla, Audrey and others all onto him and then fears for Tim's safety growing, it's only a matter of time before Stephen's game is up. Question is, will he manage to escape justice?
