Anya Taylor-Joy marries in Italy with Skins actor and Netflix stars at wedding
Anya Taylor-Joy has officially tied the knot with her fiancé at a sophisticated European destination, a little over two years after their romance was confirmed.
The Queen's Gambit star married English musician Malcolm McRae at the weekend in a lavish wedding in Italy, one year after it was reported the pair had gotten engaged.
It's understood that the VIP couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Venice on Sunday in front of a star-studded congregation of 150 guests, including supermodel Cara Delevingne and Inventing Anna actor Julia Garner. Nicholas Hoult, best known for playing Tony in Skins, was also in attendance with girlfriend Bryana Holly.
As for Anya's wedding dress, it's understood the A-lister said 'I do' wearing a beige gown with an ethereal veil. The unusual frock, which was likely custom-made, featured embroidered birds and spaghetti straps for a unique take on the traditional bridal gown.

The Peaky Blinders star also appeared to confirm her romance with Malcolm, 29, at The Northman premiere in London that same month, after kissing him on the red carpet in a rare moment of PDA for the sweet couple.
Both Anya and Malcolm have treated their fans to multiple glimpses of their relationship on Instagram, one of which saw the BAFTA-nominated actress smooching her beau in an intimate Valentine's Day selfie. The edgy singer has also shown his support for Anya's professional success, taking to social media to post a picture of them at a Vanity Fair's Oscars party with the caption, "I’m f–king proud of this girl."
The talented couple's relationship has mostly been long distance, with Anya based in the US and Malcom working in the UK. "Yes, it is [hard]," she admitted in her Vogue interview. "But it’s also kind of great because when you’re together you’re really valuing the time that you have."
“Anya and Malcolm are incredibly private and wanted to ensure their wedding was kept away from prying eyes," an insider told the MailOnline. "They both love Italy and always dreamed of tying the knot in a beautiful setting surrounded by their nearest and dearest."
As for the cost of Anya and Malcolm's glitzy wedding, it appears that they were willing to go all-out to ensure their nuptials was one to remember. They were even spotted visiting a number of idyllic venues, including a 15th century palace and an ornate 14th century church. “There will be no expense spared and their guests are bound to have an incredible time,” the insider added.
