Les Dennis' family plotting revenge on Strictly judges after early show exit

Les Dennis' 12-year-old son is plotting revenge on Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood after his early exit.

The actor and comedian found himself out of the competition this weekend, as he became the first star to head home from the competition. He was sad to be departing the show, alongside his professional partner Nancy Xu, and during a chat with host Fleur East on It Takes Two tonight, he revealed his son is ready to exact revenge on Craig for his mean comments.

Speaking to Fleur tonight, Les revealed: "That's what Craig's job is. I'm fine about it. My son Tom wasn't so fine about it. He said him and his friends were going to go down to London and give Craig a piece of their mind. He's only 12!"

Les found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard over the weekend, and he only managed to get two marks out of 10 from Craig. Despite his early exit, Les insisted he had had the best time on the show.

Speaking about his time on the show after his exit was confirmed, Les said: "I've had the best time, this lady has been amazing, a great teacher, she’s really put me through my paces. I did as well as I could for you Nancy, I hope!

"That lot up there, I’m going to miss you so much. I really appreciate and understand the judge’s point of view, thank you so much to Shirley for giving me a 10 for entertainment. I hope I’ve entertained, that’s what I came here for."

He added: "Strictly is the best and the people who put this on, you’re just all amazing!"

Of working with Les, Nancy explained that it had been a "lot of challenges" but she had loved seeing him improving.

"It's been a journey. This is such a short but a sweet journey. A lot of challenges we all know, but to see you to Les every day improve yourself. I respect you so, so much. I just want to say thank you to the judges and all my fellow friends. Thank you Strictly Come Dancing for all of your support. Thank you Les," she said when asked by host Tess Daly about her time on the show.
