Celebrity Big Brother star Jack Tweed was just 21 years old when he married Jade Goody and became stepdad to her two sons, one month before she heartbreakingly died of cervical cancer in 2009 at just 27. Fourteen years later, Jack still has a close bond with her now grown-up boys, Bobby and Freddie Brazier, whom Jade had with TV presenter Jeff Brazier, and feels incredibly proud of them both.

Sharing his affection and care for Jade's sons, Jack has said in an exclusive Mirror interview that his late wife would 'one hundred million per cent' want him to be in their lives. While he says he sees the pair in social settings, Jack admitted he would love to take Bobby, 20, and Freddie, 19, out one day and 'be normal, just like they used to be' together.

The 36-year-old electrician hugely praises their dad Jeff, and says he has done an 'amazing job' as a father. Jack told the Mirror: "Jeff has done an amazing job bringing them up. In my eyes and the way I care about them, I look at them as my stepsons, but I don't want to take credit for how Jeff has brought them up." He continued: "Jade would be over the moon how well they're both doing."

Jack has grown closer with Bobby over the years, as he says they share a mutual friend, TOWIE's James Argent, and socialise in Essex. "I see Bobby quite a bit. He's become friends with Arg so whenever he sings at Sheesh, Bobby will come. He's come to a few parties. I've been out to lunch with him a couple of times too. Freddie I've seen a few times as well," he explained.

"I saw Bobby three or four weeks ago. He's so busy and was living quite a distance away from me. We see each other through Arg or with other people, we're yet to do anything on our own. I'd like to take Bobby and Freddie out and be normal, just like we used to be, maybe one day. Jade would one hundred million per cent want me to be in their lives."

Jack has maintained his relationship with Jade's mum, Celebrity Big Brother star Jackiey Budden, who was by her daughter's side with him when Jade passed away in hospital. "I still speak to her mum. Jackiey is a bit nuts, I love her, she's funny. I still catch up with her and she's come to every single charity event. Jade would be happy that I still talk to everyone," he explained.

Jack is hugely proud of Bobby taking to the stage on Strictly Come Dancing and said the 20-year-old actor has got him back into EastEnders too. "I was a best man at my brother's wedding last Saturday so I couldn't watch the first episode of Strictly, but I've seen highlights and I'm going to catch up before [tonight]. It looks like Bobby did amazing," he said.

Sharing his excitement and predicting the win of the glitterball trophy, Jack added: "If I had to take a bet, I would say he's going to win, and I really hope he does." Watching Bobby shake his hips on the dancefloor is bittersweet for Jack, as it reminds him of memories with Jade over a decade ago, and when they'd spent time together at home as a family.

"I remember takeaway nights with Bobby. It always sticks in my head, going to get a takeaway and he'd have the music on full blast and be dancing in the car. He'd pretend to be a barman with the takeaway," Jack chuckled, adding: "He's got me back into EastEnders, I used to watch it when I was younger. I've not watched it for years, but now I know every character. He's a really good actor and he looks like he's fitted in really well."
