Al Pacino's friends 'concerned' about actor's welfare amid custody questions

Al Pacino's friends are concerned about his welfare after the mother of his youngest child filed for full custody, according to reports.

The Hollywood icon, 83, is said to have his close pals worried after Noor Alfallah, 29, reportedly filed legal documents requesting full custody of their four-month old baby Roman. The filing sparked rumours that the pair had split, however Al denied the romance was in trouble.

However, after doctors claimed the Godfather star has gained 50lbs, sources have claimed the physical side of the relationship is struggling.

One told the National Enquirer: "Under their arrangement, Al will pay for his son's welfare while Noor remains in primary custody. They'll continue to hang out and enjoy these lavish dinners together, while he treats her to the best of the best."

They added: "Intimacy is apparently off the menu, though, and has been for months. He's more of a father figure, a provider, and companion to her at this point."

The outlet went on to claim that Al's friends were shocked that he had got someone pregnant and allowed them to be in the position to take advantage of his wealth. The insider added that 5ft6 Al is now weighing in at 215lbs, continuing: "His friends are all so worried. He's an extremely vulnerable guy."

Meanwhile, RadarOnline reported that Al has not planned to challenge the custody hearing and his rep told the outlet: “There is no ongoing litigation nor issues. The filings are simply procedural steps being taken in furtherance of the parties' successful and amicable resolution.

“Al and Noor have successfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child, Roman. They are still together.” Al was first linked to Noor in early 2022 when a friend close to the couple claimed he was shocked when he discovered she was pregnant.

Insiders claim that while the pair are happy co-parenting their son, Al has no plans to ask Noor to marry him. One said: "He’s not going to marry Noor but would like to come to a financial settlement with her and arrange to spend time with the child."
