Lil Tay hit out at her dad once again

Lil Tay took to a livestream to eventually put her side across following her alleged death - and it wasn't pleasant listening for the star's dad.

The former child internet sensation spoke out for the first time following a fake announcement which said she had died alongside her brother. After sharing a new song and video, Lil Tay, now a teen, went live on Instagram to tell her side.

While the beginning of the live stream saw her playing a number of instruments as she covered a number of songs, she eventually spoke to the camera in an expletive manner. Explaining where she has been since the scandal, and why she's been accusing her dad, she claimed he had only got involved in her life when she became famous.

She said: "Biggest take away, my mom has always been supportive of me. She has been there for me my entire life."

She listed allegations of abuse against her father - claims he has vehemently denied - and went on to discuss the death hoax, which she also blames on her dad,

She said a person who had been going around claiming to be her ex-manager has been working with her dad and wanted to fake her death as part of a crypto scheme. It's unclear what the details were, but her video didn't explain them either.

Lil Tay went on to defend her mum some more, saying she now has custody of her once again and spent "all of her life savings in court" as the pair get ready to move on with her life and Lil Tay's career.

Prior to her livestream, Lil Tay uploaded a music video to Instagram, writing in all capitals in the caption: "IM BACK. IM BACK. IM BACK. YALL B***HES THOUGHT THE SHOW WAS OVER," before announcing her new single and urging fans to go and watch the full production.

The fake story of her death came in August when a statement was released on Instagram. It read: "It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire's sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain."

They added: "This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother's passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief." The statement, which was unattributed, claimed Tay and her brother had both died suddenly though provided no further information.

The following day the news declared a hoax after police said they had received no news on the apparent tragedy. Lil Tay then went on to say she was "safe and alive" in a social media post too following an influx of tributes.
