A 102-year-old man has admitted he "feels like 79" as he revealed the secret to his long life is not booze but "women, I like women."

Roger Antonucci celebrated his 102nd birthday on Wednesday at The Oats at Towne Lake, an assisted living facility in Atlanta, after his two daughters, Lisa Messina and Melanie Thompson, helped mark the special occasion. The Italian dad, who was born and raised in Philadelphia, moved to Georgia nearly 20 years ago and lived a modest life as a tailor. He was married to his childhood sweetheart, Anne, for 65 years. Daughter Melanie told Fox 29: “His mom lived to 101, so he’s outlived everybody in his family." “I feel like I’m about 79, 80 years old,” Roger said. He has advice for staying young as he keeps his family always smiling. “And I like women. I like women,” he joked.

Melanie admitted her dad has three favourite things in life but probably not in the order he admits, she remarked: “Roger likes sports and women, probably not in that order.” The 102-year-old feels like he could live for another few years and is already preparing for his next birthday. “I feel like I could go for another two, three more years,” he said.

The landmark celebration comes after a great-grandad just celebrated his 100th birthday - and laughed off claims he needed to slow down and reduce his visits to the gym. Les Savino, from Pennsylvania, says he's been having a long workout out most days since the 80s and he's not about to stop now.

He says lives life like he's in his 30s and packs his visits full of cardio, making sure he's ready to go by 7.30 am every morning. The super fit man says it does wonders for his physical and mental health and will continue to ignore all advice to hang up his trainers and towel.

“Most people at 100 no longer enjoy life and my days are just as normal as when I was 30,” he told Today.com. “Exercise is much better than medicine, a lot of people just live on pills, but I don’t. When I leave the gym in the morning after my three hours of exercising, I feel much better than when I arrived - I have more flexibility and I just feel more motivated with life.”

He still goes because Savino has “an extremely dangerous" sweet tooth. He also has plenty of time for the weights and last week did an eight-mile ride on one of the gym's bikes.
