Daniel Craig showed off his new hairstyle as he arrived in style at a star-studded charity event in New York that was hosted by George and Amal Clooney.

Held by the Clooney Foundation For Justice at the New York Public Library on Thursday evening, the Albie Awards were named after Justice Albie Sachs, a South African jurist exiled for his activism against the apartheid regime, with the event now in place to honour "courageous defenders of justice who are at great risk for what they do".

And leading the celebrity arrivals, the 55-year-old 007 actor commanded attention with a new look that consisted of longer locks in comparison to his usually short blonde mane. The British actor sported longer locks, which were effortlessly teased and parted to one side. He completed the look with a slick navy suit and a bow tie atop a crisp white shirt and a pair of glasses.

He received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Meanwhile, Niloofar Hamedi and Elahe Mohammadi were given the justice for women award for breaking the story of the death of Mahsa Amini in Iran.

Ukrainian rights group Truth Hounds was given the justice for survivors award, while the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression was presented with the justice for journalists award.
