Raye performs in underwear to sing powerful song amid body dysmorphia battle
Singer Raye removed her clothing as she performed a powerful song about body dysmorphia.
The 25-year-old Regardless singer performed for her fans at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday for a live album recording. While singing her song, Body Dysmorphia, the talented musician began stripping down to her underwear. As shown in a video shared by TikTok user Zack Jordan, the star was left in her white bra and underwear as she made the powerful statement.
Body dysmorphia, which is a mental health condition, is when you spend a lot of time worrying about the flaws in your appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others. Some of the lyrics to Raye's emotional song include: "I'm so hungry, I can't sleep / But I know if I eat /Then I'll be in the bathroom on my knees."

She shared her incredible experience with her followers on Instagram after the show. Raye wrote: "The show of my ENTIRE CAREER, I can’t HANDLE THIS I am losing my mind reflecting on this show, and yes I am posting the reviews cus we got 5 freaking stars across the board.

The star previously opened up about body dysmorphia while being interviewed on Capital FM. She said looking in the mirror can be a '50/50 experience'. She said: "Maybe a lot of people can relate. Sometimes you’ll look in the mirror and be like "that’s nice" or "that’s good", and then sometimes it will feel like the opposite.
"But that’s OK, it’s just part of life and I think it’s something I’m very much working through. I don’t think it’s good to spend too much time in the mirror, or you’ll just start pointing out all the flaws. I just use music as my therapy to try and process stuff."
