Faye Winter has revealed she is ready to 'potentially' start dating and let love back into her life again – seven months after confirming her heartbreaking split from Teddy Soares.

Love Island star Faye, 28, met and fell for Teddy, also 28, on the seventh series of the ITV reality dating show in 2021. They moved in together after leaving the Majorcan villa and things appeared to be going well for the pair in the real world – as they even took the dive of buying a dog, Bonnie, together.

Sadly, their romance wasn't to last as they announced their split in February this year in a joint statement on Instagram – after weeks of speculation over if their romance was on the rocks.

Since the split, the pair have taken aim at one another in interviews and on social media posts – signifying things are far from amicable between the former flames. But, seven months on from her breakup and Faye has revealed she is ready to 'potentially' start seeing someone new, but has one deal breaker.

Speaking on the red carpet of the JustGiving Awards earlier this week, Faye revealed exclusively to the Mirror: "I am definitely ready to potentially welcome somebody back into my life but they’d have to be a very special person who loves dogs as much as me, which I think is pretty impossible but we can try – God loves a trier!"

Although Faye is open to welcoming love back into her life the stunning reality star, who recently slammed the proposed XL Bully ban, revealed she has been enjoying her own company.

"I have really been enjoying getting to know me," she said. "I feel like I’ve never been single, lived on my own, had my own company, got to know myself and I’ve actually really enjoyed it since my breakup."

It comes after Teddy took aim at Faye as he claimed he still pays for her phone bill in an interview in August. Speaking on the Laid Bare podcast, Teddy claimed: "I don't hate any of my exes. It's all love. I still pay for my ex's phone bill right now.

"It's a 24 month contract," Teddy continued, before adding, "Obviously, I could have terminated it." When asked why he was continuing to pay, the Love Islander sighed and admitted, "To be honest... she could be calling Tom, Jerome...whoever."

After Teddy's explosive podcast revelation, Faye appeared to react with a cryptic dig online – admitting she was deciding whether to "choose violence" or not.

The Celebrity Masterchef star shared a snap of her dogs and her dinner, a plate of chunky chips with white sauce, with the caption, "Just here trying to decide if I should choose violence." However, Faye didn't elaborate any further.
