Laura Anderson gushes over baby girl and shares uncanny resemblance to Gary Lucy
New mum Laura Anderson has admitted her newborn daughter is the spitting image of her former EastEnders star and ex-partner Gary Lucy - and fans were quick to pick up on the resemblance. The former Love Island contestant, 34, shared an adorable snap of her tot Bonnie after she gave birth to her first child this month.
Laura has been documenting her journey as a new mum on her Instagram and recently told fans that she registered Bonnie's birth on Wednesday. The post received an immediate response from thousands of followers who pointed out the likeness between Bonnie and her famous dad.
The reality star agreed with one comment about how daughter Bonnie is Gary's double. The user wrote: "She is her Daddy's double' before adding 'he couldn't look anymore like him if she tried. Poor Laura after carrying her for nine months!" Laura responded with a series of laughing emojis and said: "I don't mind."
A second person commented: "How lovely, got to say Laura she I very like her daddy and her siblings xx." Another one of her followers added: "Congratulations, she looks so much like her daddy in these pictures his mini me x." But Laura also pointed out that Bonnie looks just like Gary's mum and Sadie, eight, one of his other four children with now ex-wife Natasha Gray.

However, it wasn't meant to be, as the couple decided to call it quits shortly after Laura announced she was pregnant in February of last year.

It is the first child for Laura, who previously dated Another Level singer Dane Bowers, but the fifth for Gary, who already shares four children with ex-wife Natasha Gray, who he tied the knot with in 2014. They are parents to India, 18, Elvis, 12, Sadie, seven, and four-year-old Theodore.
Speaking out about why they previously split, Gary shared it was down to geography as Laura wanted him to move to her native Scotland so they could raise the baby together there. He explained: "Laura did want me to move, but I have my responsibilities here. I have four kids and all the things that go along with that so it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to uproot at this time."
The actor has opted to live in Essex where his children live after he and their mother divorced in 2018. "I wish I could break myself in half. I would if I could," the Hollyoaks star told The Sun. Gary also said that he loves Love Island star Laura "more than ever", and was looking forward to co-parenting their child together before news of their surprise reunion broke.
But the pair looked to have reconciled days before welcoming their little one. A source told The Sun: "He [Gary] flew up to Scotland to see Laura and they were spotted together at Glasgow airport. Then the next week, they went to Gleneagles, the luxury hotel, together." Fans reportedly spotted the pair at the hotel together and Laura confirmed she was there after tagging the £800-a-night country house hotel in an Instagram post as she shared a picture of herself in a fluffy dressing gown in the grounds.
