Leigh Francis has admitted he hasn't seen Holly Willoughby since the "all the telly drama" on This Morning unfolded, revealing the last time he was with her in person was in April at his birthday party.

The Celebrity Juice presenter, also known by his stage named Keith Lemon, hosted a huge costume bash at a private members' club in London to celebrate his 50th last spring.

He was joined at Soho's White City House by an impressive guestlist of celebrity friends, including long-time pals Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, to mark the special occasion. Invitees were asked to dress as movie characters for the party, which was also attended by Fearne Cotton, Emma Bunton and Kimberley Walsh.

The event took place just three months before the Phillip resigned from This Morning, following the news that he had engaged in an affair with a younger male colleague while still married to his wife, Stephanie Lowe. His sudden departure from the ITV breakfast show occurred amid a rumoured 'feud' with co-host Holly Willoughby, whom he claimed did not know about his secret relationship.

Leigh Francis, who has been friends with Holly for years, has now spoken out about his relationship with the 42-year-old presenter. "The last time I saw Holly was on my birthday. I haven’t seen her since all the telly drama," he told the MailOnline. "April was the last time I saw her in real life."

The Leeds native also said that he had "reached out to everyone" during the scandal, adding, "I just text people and go, 'Are you ok?' I reached out to everyone."

Holly returned to This Morning without Phillip earlier this month, after cooperating in the inquiry into the scandal amid her insistence she was unaware of the affair. Leigh shared his thoughts on why she had resumed her position on the famous ITV couch, quipping, "They pay well, don’t they?" It was recently reported that Holly could expect a pay rise this year, with her salary rumoured to be jumping from £700,000 to £1 million.

Leigh also said, "I’m guessing she still enjoys it, so I think you should leave a show when you don’t enjoy it anymore." The comedian's sentiments echo those of a TV insider, who recently told the Mirror that "Holly loves This Morning, sees her future very much on the sofa and is not going anywhere."
