Jake Paul teaching US Presidential candidate 'how to use Tik Tok'
Jake Paul has explained why he is helping US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr how to use Tik Tok as he continues his tour of meeting politicians.
The YouTube star-turned-boxer has already linked up with both former president Donald Trump and outsider Vivek Ramaswamy from the Republican end of the American political system. And he is now keen to test out both sides as he spends time with Democrat Kennedy, whose ability to draw huge crowds has yet to reflect in poll numbers.
Paul is keen to get behind who he calls "underdog presidential candidates" in an effort to help them to overtake establishment figures such as current president Joe Biden. He labelled himself, perhaps fancifully given his 1997 birthdate, as a "millennial", and told his followers that he wants candidates to be in touch with his generation.
"I’m teaching the underdog presidential candidates (who I think are best for this country) how to use Tik Tok because they need the youth to beat the big dogs," Paul wrote in a Twitter post to his 4.6million followers. "As a millennial it’s important for our presidents to understand us and to be able to connect with us.
Jake Paul calls on John Fury to make retirement bet for fight with son Tommy"We’ve lost sight of the UNITED States Of America. The division in this country is frightening. REMEMBER we are 'one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all'. Connection to our leaders helps eliminate division."
Paul similarly showed the platform to Ramaswamy a few weeks ago, and told his brother Logan that he is keen to work with more of the pack for the 2024 election. Back in 2021, he was called on FaceTime by former president Trump, and has since met the controversial ex-leader with the pair showing mutual respect for one another.
“I was saying to my mom that he’s really cool," Jake told his older brother Logan during an appearance on his podcast Impaulsive. "Over the past couple of days we have grown our relationship, I really like his way of thinking. If he doesn’t win this Presidential campaign, I know one day he will win another Presidential campaign.

“One thing that’s great about him that I also liked about [Donald] Trump is they’re not just saying what their donors want them to say. He’s not a politician by trade, he’s a businessman that’s a billionaire. He knows how to run a business and America is a business, that’s what people don’t f****ng realise."
In a series of Instagram stories explaining where he stands politically, Paul has also previously written: "I seem right wing but really I'm pretty neutral on policies and want the truth to be told. I just want the games to be put to the side and I want salesman politics to die.
"People think this s*** isn't important and it so is! Your vote matters... I'm the peoples champ and always will be. I got y'all. With all that said I like Vivek as a person and human truly. F*** Republican and Democrat. He's a good a** American who can seriously help us."
