Corrie stalking horror escalates for Daisy as Justin breaks into her home

Coronation Street's Daisy will see her stalking horror escalate next week as Justin breaks into her home.

Daisy Midgeley - played by Charlotte Jordan - has been struggling with Justin's unwanted advances. Despite her telling him she's not interested, he is adamant that they should be together and insists she doesn't really love Daniel.

The pair met whilst Daisy was being investigated for a cancer scare, whilst Justin told her he was there to support his mum who had terminal cancer. Since then, he has been bombarding her with text messages, sending her flowers and has now become her delivery driver in a bid to get even closer to her leaving Daisy even more fearful.

Daisy continues to struggle

However, things get even worse next week as Daisy, worried Justin has found out the date of the wedding, calls the venue and reschedules. Her plan to borrow a dress from a boutique also goes down hill when Justin calls the boutique and accuses Daisy of assault, meaning that they are not willing to lend her the dress as they worry their reputation will be damaged.

Daniel tries to make light of the situation, whilst Daisy is left furious by his reaction.

As she hears the doorbell, she checks her app and sees Justin is outside her house. She urges him to leave but when she returns to her living room, Justin is there, having got in through the back door. Daisy is left terrified.

Justin arrives at the hearing

Later in the week, Daisy turns her phone on and is surprised to see no messages from Justin as she gets herself ready for the Stalking Protection Order hearing, desperate to protect herself from what has been going on.

In the court, Dee-Dee tells the judge that Justin has failed to attend, whilst Daisy delivers her statement and explains how Justin has made her life so difficult in what should be a happy time for her as she plans her wedding.

The door then opens to the court, and Justin walks in. He tells the court that there must be a misunderstanding as he's friends with Daisy and certainly not a stalker. Will Daisy get the Stalking Protection Order she wants?

Actress Charlotte revealed Daisy is feeling very "helpless" with all that's going on.

She said: "She feels totally isolated and is feeling totally helpless. It was really important to do this storyline and it is clever to do it with a character like Daisy, because she's a divisive character.

"You either love her or hate her, there's not really an in-between and all the things that make her Daisy, she's extra, she's flamboyant, she's camp, she's big, and you will slowly see she starts to crumble."
