An exciting night of Misfits Boxing comes to Tyneside tonight, with reality TV stars Aaron Chalmers and Idris Virgo headlining a massive Newcastle event.

The influencer boxing promotion is making its final stop ahead of October's KSI vs Tommy Fury super-card, with a number of smaller contenders competing to get their name out there in the Vertu Motors Arena. There are influencers, musicians, reality TV personalities and even the son of an MMA legend on this stacked night of fights.

Action will get underway early in Newcastle, with a nine-fight card beginning in the evening and culminating with Virgo and Chalmers' showdown. The returning Faze Temperrr and X-Factor winner Ashley from Rak-Su are some of the bigger names on the card, as well as some up-and-coming influencer talent.

Quotes corner

Idris Virgo: "I will be entering a hostile environment on September 23 but I'm there to take care of business. The Newcastle fans, however much they try and intimidate me, it's not going to work and very quickly I will stun them into silence, when I issue a beatdown on Chalmers. They call me the Bodybreaker, but I'll also be breaking Chalmers' heart and after this Misfits will have no choice but to put me on their pound for pound list after this victory."

Aaron Chalmers: "Idris is a bum, the last guy I fought just signed for UFC, the last guy he fought just cleaned my bins. He has never sold a ticket in his life, I’ve sold out the Newcastle arena twice, and sold more tickets in his hometown for my debut fight than he’s sold in all his fights combined Idris is 13 fight unbeaten pro but is more famous for being terrorised by Tommy Fury in the crowd at the last Misfits event.

"We are going to go to war, every round I will be standing in the middle of the ring going blow for blow, hook for hook and jab for jab, whoever wins this fight is the swing bout for nearly every fight on the Prime Card and I’m there for it. I've had one pro boxing fight and one exhibition, which I took on one week's notice but for this fight I’ve had a proper camp no excuses and we are going to leave it all in the ring."
