If you're on the lookout for a high-quality standing desk then you may want to consider the Flexispot E7 Standing Desk.

The Flexispot E7 Standing desk is a premium height-adjustable desk which can be used for both sitting and standing and can save up to four heights, which can be selected with the press of a button. It can hold an exceptional amount of weight meaning no matter how decked out your set-up is, you'll be able to get it all on this tabletop.

There are a range of options for colours and sizes for the desk, our unit was a white frame with a maple table top of 160cm x 80cm, but you can select up to six different sizes along with a curved option. Our unit comes in at £589.98 / $549.99 which roughly converts to AU$850 but this desk isn't available in Australia for the moment.

Flexispot E7 Standing Desk Design

One of the main perks of picking up a desk from Flexispot is the fact that there is a wide range of colours and finishes to choose from for both your tabletop and the body of your desk. We tested a light maple desktop and a white body for the base of the desk, however, for those who prefer darker aesthetics, a black combo might work better for you.

The wooden table top screams supreme quality and was able to absorb any bang, thud or shock I put the desk through when moving it around or just during day-to-day use. There are no marks left behind on the desk no matter how much weight I put on it, and all spillages can be wiped clean, including pen marks and the odd Coca-Cola spillage.

The base of the desk comes with a built-in cable management tray underneath to make for easy wiring, however, if you want something more extensive then there is the option to pick up an actual rack along with your new purchase.

Flexispot E7 Standing Desk Features and Performance

This desk is able to hold a major amount of weight and to put this to the test, I very reluctantly climbed on top of it and jumped up and down. Not only did the desk not collapse underneath me, but it was also impressively stable. I continue to climb on top of it every so often, with my monitors and PC on it, to reach the higher shelves above it and I am still alive to tell the tale, so it gets a stamp of approval from me.

Of course, you also get the ability to adjust the height of the desk, and you can save up to four custom heights for the desk to change to with the touch of a button. I currently have my appropriate sitting height and standing height set up, which was extremely simple to do.

When moving, the desk rises and lowers at a pretty slow speed which although doesn’t sound too important, is actually a really good thing, as it ensures that it stays stable.

Being able to adjust the height also means you can make it the perfect height to suit you ergonomically. When I want to slouch all the way down in my chair, I’ll lower it even more, which I know is ironic considering I just mentioned ergonomics, but this is extremely handy.

Overall thoughts on the Flexispot E7 Standing Desk

If you're on the lookout for a new standing desk, you'll know already that they can get quite expensive, particularly one with height adjustment. So, although there's an extra premium with the Flexispot E7 Standing Desk, you pay for what you get: this desk oozes quality.
