Hapless woman gets stuck inside toilet bowl while trying to retrieve Apple watch
A hapless woman got herself stuck in a toilet bowl and had to be hoisted out after climbing IN to retrieve her Apple Watch only to get stuck.
The marooned lady was unable to clamber out of the public outhouse toilet as she went in to get the tech she had dropped inside. She was heard frantically shouting for help by passersby. The unnamed woman had attended a boat launch when she answered a call of nature.
A Michigan State Police spokesperson said: “First responders were called for a woman stuck inside the outhouse toilet. The woman was heard yelling for help and told first responders she had dropped her Apple Watch in the toilet.

If you lose an item in an outhouse toilet, do not attempt to venture inside the containment area. Serious injury may occur.”
Despite her predicament, the woman successfully fished her Apple Watch out of the toilet at Dixon Lake, northwest of Michigan. One local resident said: “Ewww, just ewww.”

Another said: “I probably wouldn’t even want to wear my watch after it fell in there. “And would need to remove my skin.”
Rodney wrote: “Should have left her in there, natural selection and all.” Ryan remarked: “Bad day, dropping your Apple Watch in an 1800’s outhouse s***hole."

Emergency services have encountered trouble before, including the drama at Dixon Lake in northern Michigan's Bagley Township of Otsego County. According to People, in April 2022, Washington State firefighters saved a woman who had fallen head first into an outhouse toilet vault while attempting to grab her cell phone.
Brinnon Fire Department Chief Tim Manly said the woman had been stuck on top of Mount Walker in Olympic National Forest. Tim said the 40-year-old woman first took the toilet and outhouse apart.
Despite her predicament, the woman successfully fished her Apple Watch out of the toilet (Getty Images)After disassembling the toilet seat and housing itself, she lowered herself into the toilet using dog leashes as a means of support. The plan ultimately failed, however.
She tried to escape for about 10 to 15 minutes to no avail. Once reunited with her cell phone, she was able to dial 911 for help. Authorities said she was lucky to leave the toilet unscathed by toxins that can come from close contact with human waste.
The woman was strongly encouraged to seek medical attention but refused saying she just wanted to be on her way.
