Spider-Man: No Way Home coming to Netflix and fans can't wait

Spidey fans will be delighted to learn that Spider-Man: No Way Home will soon be swinging its way onto Netflix.

Tom Holland's third solo outing as the titular hero thrillingly rips open the multiverse and reunites fans with a whole host of supervillains and heroes - and it's done in such a wonderfully head-scratching way you'll be chatting about it for days.

No Way Home is one of those films that raises the bar for what can be achieved in modern cinema, and as such really has to be seen to be believed. It became the most successful film of 2021, raking in £1.5billion at the global box office and was the first movie to hit the $1bn mark (£746.4m) since 2019.

The movie has been available to rent on streaming for some time now, while the previous two instalments, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home are already available to enjoy on Netflix.

Attracting a more than healthy 8.2 on IMDB, the bizarre tale sees a troubled Peter Parker enlist the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in an effort to make his identity as Spider-Man a secret again. Unfortunately, Strange's spell goes rather awry, leading to all manner of unwanted guests entering their universe, including Willem Dafoe's maniacal Green Goblin and Alfred Molina's mechanical menace Doctor Octopus.

Unique, puzzling, and rip-roaringly entertaining, audiences were bowled over by No Way Home's ripping-up of cinema's rulebook.

IMDB user Gordon-11 posted: "This Spiderman is really fantastic. It captivated me right from the start, and I was entranced every second. There's adventure, friendship, team spirit, love, empathy, and brotherhood. The people in the cinema clapped and cheered multiple times. I loved every second of it!"

Masonsaul said: "A phenomenal conclusion to the trilogy and Holland's best outing as Spidey yet. Starts off fun, safe and familiar and then becomes extremely emotional, satisfying and full of great callbacks. A love letter to all things Spider-Man."

Jack_o_hasanov_imdb: "Acting was great. The script was pretty good. It was the best Spider-Man movie in my opinion. It's also one of the best superhero movies."

Cricketbat: "An impressive culmination of the films that came before it, with an engaging storyline, exciting action, laugh out loud moments, and dramatic consequences. An exhilarating ride once things get swinging."

What next for Spider-Man?

DigitalSpy reported several months ago that Sony Pictures had reserved both November 8, 2024 and June 27, 2025 on the theatrical calendar - specifically for Marvel movies.

It reported that with Venom 3 likely to land the 2024 date, the mooted sequel could possibly fill that subsequent summertime slot. No Way Home will land on Netflix on Sunday, October 15.
