Michael Owen believes Jurgen Klopp will ask his Liverpool stars why they have conceded first again after their 3-1 win against LASK.

The Reds were forced to recover from a goal down to beat the Austrian side in their Europa League clash. Florian Flecker gave the hosts the lead before Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah all found the net during the second half to claim the points.

Although Liverpool have made an unbeaten start to the new season - winning five of their first six games - they were forced to come from a goal down to beat Bournemouth, Newcastle, Wolves and now LASK. They've also kept just one clean sheet this term.

Former Liverpool striker Owen thinks Klopp will be "slightly concerned" about why his team are constantly chasing games. The German coach is under pressure to succeed this season after Liverpool failed to qualify for the Champions League last time out.

"I think he (Klopp) will be slightly concerned," Owen told TNT Sports. "He will probably be looking at it like why has that happened? Is it a coincidence or is it happening too much to draw some conclusions from it? But the overriding feeling would be a bit of relief.

"It is a great first result getting three points away from home and you are in a really good position. He will be delighted, but a few little concerns about why it is happening all the time. But it is some character to keep coming back and go on and win."

Liverpool will need to be at their best if they are to win their next game against West Ham at Anfield on Sunday afternoon. The Hammers have won five of their first six fixtures this season after beating Serbian side Backa Topola in their Europa League opener.

Liverpool are the favourites to win the Europa League having appeared in three of the last six Champions League finals. Yet Klopp, whose team lost the 2016 Europa League final to Sevilla, has warned fans it will be difficult to reach the final in Dublin next May.

He said: "I know how the world is and I know that people expect us to fly through this competition. It will not happen. It will not happen in the group stage, it will not happen in the knockout stage... We have to dig into it and that’s what we did (against LASK)."

Liverpool's next Europa League game is against Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise on October 5. Their other opponents in Group E are French outfit Toulouse.
