Mega-fans of Emily in Paris can follow in the footsteps of the television icon in their own adventure to the City of Love - and yes, that includes plenty of opportunities to explore the filming locations.

The initially derided and then subsequently much loved Netflix show has been filling its followers' heads with daydreams of walking along the River Seine arm-in-arm with a French beau and breaking into the world of fashion since it launched in 2020.

If you don't happen to work for a Chicago marketing firm that needs to send one of its employees out to Paris to explain American culture, then fear not. Now fans of the Netflix’s show can take themed trips to the French capital with DHARMA, a travel start-up that "offers exclusive trips hosted by iconic people and brands".

The four-night/five-day small group trips to Paris are hosted by lifestyle influencers, or 'Emileaders' as the company is calling them. The holiday is designed to mirror Emily’s Parisian adventures and offers a range of immersive experiences centred around fashion, lifestyle and romance.

Those on the trip get to enjoy private designer atelier visits, a Sylvie-inspired masterclass on the art of seduction and a Lillet-Spritz cocktail-making session on one of Paris’ most iconic rooftops.

Charaf El Mansouri, CEO at DHARMA, said: “Our core conviction is that the future of travel is not about the where but about the why. Series like Emily in Paris make you wish there was a ‘Book This Trip’ button at the end of every episode. That’s the opportunity ahead, and the kind of transformational travel so many of us seek.”

The trips are for small groups of 8 to 16 people who will take part in a baking class, behind the scenes location tour, trip to Palais Royal, a flirting class and plenty more. Shared rooms cost from £2,155 per person, and a single room £2,870 per person. Flights and insurance are not included.

Ines Tazi, the Netflix TV Personality who is the first ambassador to host a Paris by Emily trip, said: “This innovative concept is a brand-new adventure. I love creating bridges between online and offline, fiction and reality. Curating this new experience allows me to share what I cherish about Paris, from fashion and gastronomy to art and history. Just like Emily in Paris, this is an ode to the French capital for culturally curious minds."

If you fancy heading to the French capital, but you don't like the idea forking out quite so much, then hopping on the Eurostar and renting out a cheap (ish) apartment equipped with a list of things to do is not a bad bet.

The Opera Garnier House is one of the most opulent and recognisable destinations in the world. One of the best ways to see it, if you can't bag a ticket to a show, is via the 1.5 hour tour which lets you take in the grand decor, explore the chandelier-filled foyer, and learn all about the history of the amazing building from a knowledgeable guide.

Another string to Paris' bow is as a centre of perfume making. You can discover their secrets in this Perfume Creation Workshop, which includes a 20-minute guided tour of the museum. You'll learn about the art of creating the scent and explore 'nine different essences' used by the nose to create your very own fragrance, which you can take home.
