EastEnders' eagle-eyed fans spot new Keanu Christmas clue with link to Denise

EastEnders' eagle-eyed fans think they have spotted a new Keanu Taylor Christmas clue after Tuesday's episode with a potential link to Denise Fox in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment.

During the latest episode, Albert Square's residents headed to the Queen Vic for Kat Slater's surprise hen do but one person who wasn't happy was Keanu. Viewers will recall that Keanu has been blackmailing Kat's husband-to-be Phil Mitchell after he slept with Emma Harding last week.

On Monday's episode, Phil decided to lie to Keanu in a bid to keep him quiet as he pretended that he had already told Kat everything about Emma and she had forgiven him. However, on Tuesday's episode, Keanu got suspicious over Phil's words as he noticed how happy Kat was and realised Phil had lied.

Sending a warning text to Phil, Sharon Watts stepped in to help Phil as she threatened Keanu that she will restrict his access to Albie if he blabs to Kat. Keanu agreed to keep quiet and then decided to drink himself silly, which resulted in him telling Alfie Moon about the secret. It was during this moment that eagle-eyed fans noticed he was necking green shots, linking it to the Christmas storyline.

This Christmas, one male character will be killed off in scenes at The Queen Vic, which sees Stacey Slater alongside Suki Panesar, Kathy Beale, Denise, Sharon and Linda Carter standing over a dead body. One of the women are tipped to be the killer while details of what happens and who dies remain unknown but the victim is wearing amber cufflinks.

Earlier this year, EastEnders dropped a new flashforward clip of Denise, who is wearing the same green dress as the first flashforward, drinking a green cocktail as she sits alone in the Queen Vic. With bells ringing in the background, Denise stares menacingly before smashing her cocktail glass on the floor. It then shows a quick montage of all of "the six" characters involved, ending with the words: "In a flash, everything changes..."

Soap watchers were quick to link Keanu necking green shots to Denise's green dress and cocktail in the Christmas flashforward, especially as Keanu smashed a glass on Tuesday night just like Denise. Taking to social media, one person said: "#EastEnders SPOILERS: In today's ep, Stacey called Jack her "knight in shining armour"... Jack is high on my list as the dead body at Xmas... Karen shouting: "Dead woman walking!" And I think Keanu is the "target" in this ep. And he drank the green shot? Denise kills him?"

A different account put: "#EastEnders finally, keanu. i don’t have much to say on him on terms of the reason as to why he could potentially be the body, but i picked up on a clue. in denise’s six trailer, she’s drinking a green drink that matches her six colour “green with envy” and today, we see", they added: "Keanu drink a green shot. going back to “green with envy”, perhaps keanu is envious of phil. these clips from tonight’s episode suggest so as he is frustrated at sharon for protecting phil and even threatening not seeing albie against him FOR phil’s sake."
