Russell Brand urged Caprice Bourret to take her knickers off in an MTV interview which has since resurfaced.

It comes after the actor and comedian was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse at the height of his fame. Channel 4's Dispatches and The Sunday Times published the allegations over the weekend. Four women are alleged to have come forward with claims, with the incidents taking place between 2006 and 2013. During this time Brand was a presenter on BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4 and starred in several Hollywood films. He recently shared a video statement denying 'criminal' and 'very serious' allegations, which he said had been put to him in the form of a letter and email from an unnamed television programme and newspaper.

During one interview filmed while Brand, 48, was working for MTV, he interviewed Caprice about her latest projects after the model turned her hands to become a businesswoman. Caprice, 51, had recently launched her latest lingerie collection which led Brand to ask a series of inappropriate questions.

Having discussed her collection, Russell asked the American-born beauty if she would close her business if somebody accidentally hung themselves with one of her own bras, as she awkwardly laughed at the bizarre question before responding: "No, you're mad, you're crazy!" Russell went on to say: "Caprice, are you wearing one of your own bras? I mean are you wearing a bra designed by you now?"

Shocked by the question, the mum-of-two responded: "No but I'm wearing my knickers," before Brand said: "Get them off!" Appearing amused by the demand, Caprice stood up and said: "OK then," before she started to sit down again. "There won't be a point where I'll say oh don't," Russell said before continuing: "There will be a point where I will go 'go on then,'" before he gestured implying he was masturbating.

His actions appeared to leave Caprice feeling unamused though as the model began to squirm and hide her face in her hands as Brand spat on himself. "Everybody does it, don't be afraid of your own sexuality... Do be a bit afraid of mine though," he said leaving Caprice speechless before she commented: "Where do we go from there?"

In the Dispatches investigation and documentary, one alleged victim claims she was raped by Brand in his Los Angeles home and later claimed he said he was "very sorry" for causing any distress. A second alleged victim claims she was assaulted by Brand when she was just 16 and he was 31. Meanwhile, another claims that she was sexually assaulted by Russell in Los Angeles and he later threatened her with legal action.

Brand denied all allegations, saying: "I've received two extremely disturbing letters or a letter and an email. One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks, as well as some pretty stupid stuff like community festival should be stopped, that I shouldn't be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel.

"But amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream when I was in the newspapers all the time when I was in the movies. And as I've written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.

"Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that. Then almost too transparent, and I'm being transparent about it now as well. And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny makes me question, is there another agenda at play?"
