Original supermodel Helena Christensen stuns in mesh robe and lacy tights
Helena Christensen stunned as she posed in a mesh robe and a pair of lacy tights.
The 54-year-old original supermodel looked gorgeous in a purple ruffled robe and plunging bodysuit. Helena turned heads in the bold look as she attended London Fashion Week on Monday at the BFC x AlUla Creates Atelier Hekayat and Aram Designs Presentation. The Victoria's Secret Angel kept her dark locks swept back into a neat bun and wore stunning dewy makeup. She topped her look off with a matching purple handbag and a pair of yellow heels.
Her appearance at London Fashion Week comes after making a return to the catwalk last month. Having rarely strutted her stuff in recent years, Helena made an exception in her hometown for Copenhagen Fashion Week. She looked sensational as she took to the runway for the Stine Goya Spring/Summer collection. The mum-of-one stunned as she slipped into a pale blue one-shouldered dress which was neatly decorated by pearls around the neckline, as well as a ruffled shoulder design.

The supermodel shot to fame in the 90s (Getty)Helena also took to her social mediato share a string of behind-the-scenes snaps alongside her son Mingus Lucien Reedus, sister Anita and her mum Elsa. Shortly after making her way down the catwalk, she shared a selfie of herself and her mum alongside the caption: "Best part? Mom came along!"
The supermodel is now based in New York but likes to stay true to her Scandinavian roots. Speaking to Vogue, she said: "Coming from Denmark, [you are encouraged to] look at all the little things that are important and beautiful, that make you happy. It's not about the big things." Earlier this year, Helena shared the heartbreaking news her father Flemming had died. Taking to Instagram, she shared a string of snaps of the Christensen which included some of her with her dad while she was a baby.

She wrote: "I realize now that in these many last years of your life, you showed your true strength, fighting to stay with your beloved family for as long as possible not wanting to leave us. You will always be with us, Dad and I will keep waving, always." Helena was flooded with support from her modelling pals including Christy Turlington, Daisy Lowe and Naomi Campbell.
The Danish model also praised her pals back in May as she reunited with Christy and Cindy Crawford. They were the poster girls of the modelling industry during the 1990s and posed for stunning snaps alongside their lookalike children. Cindy looked chic in a low-cut black blouse and blue jeans combination, while Christy rocked a blue dress with a black blazer over the top. Helena dazzled in an olive green dress patterned with tree motifs.
Alongside the snaps, Helena gushed: "Lifelong friendships. So beyond grateful for these women, love them and our kids so much." Christy replied: "That was such a lovely end to a long day! Thanks @helenachristensen for always capturing these occasions that don't happen often enough!" Cindy's daughter Kaia Gerber commented: "Such special memories. Love you!!!!!"
