Louise Redknapp 'gives away new romance' as pair fail to play it coy
Louise Redknapp gave away her new romance as she and her boyfriend failed to play it coy, a body language expert has claimed.
The Naked hitmaker left Jimmy Carr’s 51st birthday party at The Groucho Club in London alongside Drew Michael and played it cool in front of the waiting paparazzi who were gathered outside. Not much is known about the long-haired hunk, but it’s the first relationship Louise, 48, has gone public with since divorcing Jamie in 2017.
The mum-of-two was keen to keep her distance from Drew as they left the star-studded party late on Monday night, but body language expert Judi James claims their behaviour was a classic sign they were a hot new item. “Louise’s smile when she and Drew do connect with each other here when he looks back towards her and she throws a shy beaming grin at the pavement might say it all in terms of this being a relationship rather than a ‘plus one’ date,” she explained.

She walks out of the club in the opposite direction to Drew and on the way in she appears to be doing everything possible to avoid being seen with him in coupled-up poses. He seems on-message with that too, staring ahead with a stony expression as though unaware he has a Redknapp walking along behind him,” Judi continued.
“If you ask someone who is just a friend/hairdresser/personal trainer to be your plus one for a night out because you didn’t have a date you wouldn’t dream of trying to avoid them like this as it would be rude to your guest. Drew might look as though he knows his way round a gym but their lack of connection signals here throw out the biggest hint that they might be a proper item,” the body language and behaviour expert revealed.

Louise looked stunning as she went public with her new man, rocking an autumnal outfit that featured a chic black pencil skirt teamed with knee-high patent boots and a black bomber jacket, while her date kept it casual in dark jeans and a jumper. However, the 39-year-old did make sure he was protected against the rainy weather as he carried a raincoat on his way out of the exclusive members-only club.
Louise and former footballer Jamie, who share sons Charley, 18, and Beau, 14, announced they had parted ways in October 2017, and the couple had divorced by December that same year. Talking about the split, the singer, who competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 with professional partner Kevin Clifton, said she had grown tired of being a “Stepford wife” and was ready to get back to performing. “Standing by and watching Jamie become this entertainment star was pretty hard. I was proud of him, but there was part of me thinking, 'that's my world'. I could see the excitement he got out of it and I knew how that felt. But it wasn't me feeling it anymore,” she sadly explained.
