Russell Brand's awkward meeting with Katharine McPhee on Jimmy Fallon resurfaces
An awkward moment of Russell Brand being told off by Jimmy Fallon has resurfaced after the UK comedian's appearance on the hit stateside talk show in 2013.
In the clip, the host is seen looking shellshocked as Russell suggestively grabbed fellow guest Katharine McPhee and bounced her on his lap. Russell, now 48, continued to try to flirt with the actress, 39, leaving her looking extremely uncomfortable.
Russell then joked he had to leave the stage after discovering the star was indeed married - but only after commenting that sometimes change is good, joking: "You should never destroy a marriage unless you are really bored."

He has been accused of rape, assault and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013, when he was at the height of his fame working for the BBC, Channel 4 and starring in Hollywood films. The Met said they have now received an allegation of sexual assault in Soho, central London, in 2003.

In the Jimmy Fallon interview from a decade ago, Russell failed to move out of the chair meant for Katharine. Instead, he grabbed the star who played along initially and sat on his knee. Russell told Jimmy: "She's welcome to sit here," before the shocked host shouted: "'No Russell, don't even say for the Queen, you can't."
Russell then proceeded to bounce Katharine on his knee, much to her surprise, as she shared a stunned expression as she quickly got up. The scenes saw Jimmy put his hand to his face and look flabbergasted as Russell continued to hit on the actress.

Look away," but the comedian continued the awkward interaction before leaving the stage on the news Katharine was married. Before exiting, he had said: "As you know, I've announced it, I find Katharine very attractive and I think when she said 'exchange numbers,' I thought things I'd like to exchange with her. Numbers. Genes. Genetic info. Data."
Russell has openly admitted to his sex addiction in the past and in his statement "refuting" allegations of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse, the comedian-turned-actor confessed he has been "very promiscuous" in years gone by. The Get Him To The Greek star was once married to Katy Perry and is now married to Laura Gallacher, sister of presenter Kirsty Gallacher. He has two children and insists his former ways are behind him.
