Dozens of firefighters tackled a major blaze in a high rise block of flats in North West London this evening - with explosions heard.
Videos and images posted on X (formerly Twitter) show smoke and flames billowing from the residential building near Kilburn Square, with around 60 firefighters at the scene.
Loud pops and explosions could be heard as people watched on from the main road.
London Fire Brigade said half a flat on the 13th floor is alight. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
LFB added it had received 78 calls alerting it to the incident from just before 6.45pm.

Brent Council confirmed all residents have been evacuated and a rest centre set up at Brent Civic Centre.

Brent Council has confirmed residents have been evacuated, with a rest centre being set up at Brent Civic Centre.

Residents have been evacuated and a rest centre is being set up at Brent Civic Centre ready to take anyone in need of shelter.

LFB has confirmed the fire has been brought under control, writing on X: "The fire in #Kilburn is now under control. At the height of the fire, the Brigade's 999 Control room received 78 calls alerting them to the fire."
The amended statement in full now says: "Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a flat fire on Kilburn Square in Kilburn.
"Half of a flat on the 13th floor of a 15 storey building was alight. Thankfully, no injuries are reported.
"It was a very visible fire and the Brigade's 999 Control room received 78 calls alerting them to the fire.
"The Brigade was called at 1843 and was under control by 2009. Fire crews from Kentish Town, Kensington, Park Royal, Hendon, Chelsea, Euston and Soho fire stations were in attendance.

Life in Kilburn has tweeted: "Understand that fire is now under control but that all residents have been evacuated. No report of injuries so far. Have alerted full @Brent_Council Council meeting. Kilburn Councillors on their way to Kilburn Square."

Ivo Costa, who is at the scene and posting on X, reports neighbours have claimed it's not the first time there has been a fire at the same flat, although this has not been confirmed.
London Fire Brigade said in a statement: "Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters have been called to a flat fire on Kilburn Square in Kilburn.
