Fourteen children have been arrested over the death of a 14-year-old boy in a fire at an industrial unit.

Neil Selkirk, 54, was found in a park in Gateshead with injuries consistent with having been assaulted. He died at the scene and a murder investigation was launched.

A 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl have been charged with the murder of a 40-year-old father who was stabbed to death.
