Urgent hunt for woman missing for entire month after moving to the UK from Dubai

Concerns are growing for the welfare of a woman who has been missing for a month after moving to the UK from Dubai. Inesha - whose surname hasn't been supplied by police - vanished from the Cotswolds last month.

The 39-year old was residing in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire at the time of her disappearance. She was last seen at around 5pm on August 16, reports GloucestershireLive.

Gloucestershire Police describe the Sri Lankan as being 5ft 6in tall, of a small build, with long, black curly hair. Although she left a note prior to going missing, cops say nobody has heard from her since.

A resident of Dubai, Inesha had only been in the country for a few weeks and therefore has very few friends or contacts in the UK. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who has seen her or has information regarding her whereabouts.

Appealing for help on X, formerly Twitter, police wrote: "If you have seen Inesha, you can provide information to police by calling 101 and quoting incident 109 of 17 August. If you have recently seen her or can see her at the time of calling dial 999 and ask for police."
