Politician caught being escorted out of 'Beetlejuice’ after 'non-stop vaping'
A high-ranking US politician was caught on camera being escorted out of a musical after she reportedly non-stop vaped through the production - and 'REFUSED to stop when a pregnant woman asked her.'
CCTV footage captured the awkward moment Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert was escorted from Beetlejuice following “multiple complaints” from patrons. The video shows the moment officials approach Boebert at their seats inside the theatre. After several minutes of conversation, they can be seen to be escorted out of the theatre. In the awkward clip, the pair can be seen walking with officials through the theatre and exiting out onto the street.
The theatre hit back at the controversial politician and shared a report of the night with CNN which featured multiple theatregoers complaining that a couple, including Boebert, were being loud and disruptive. The report said the patrons in Orchestra C Row E seats 1 and 2 were “vaping, singing, causing a disturbance," - and that a pregnant woman was told "no” when she asked Boebert to put her vaping pen down. She added: “These people in front of us were outrageous. I’ve never seen anyone act like that before."
Boebert denied vaping during the show but did use her cellphone to take a picture of the performance (Bull Theater)The theatre’s report added: “The patrons were not at their seats when we arrived, and we waited until they returned. Once the patrons returned, I informed them that our usher team had noticed vaping and also that they were causing a disturbance for the area with noise, singing, using their cell phone, and that they need to be respectful to their neighbours.
“The patrons were argumentative. Saying they were in concert with everyone around them. I again informed them it was a group experience, and they would be asked to leave if they continued. I told them that they need to leave the theatre and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would be going to get Denver Police. They said go get them."

According to the report, the individuals then left the theatre on their own and were then escorted outside the doors.
In a social media post, Boebert said she had attended the performance and said she was “guilty to laughing and singing too loud.”
“It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud! Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends,” she said in the post.
In a statement shared with CNN, Boebert’s campaign manager, Drew Sexton, said Boebert denied vaping during the show but did use her cellphone to take a picture of the performance, unaware that photos were not allowed. The statement was first shared with the Denver Post.
“I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice,’” Sexton said in the statement.
