Junior Andre took part in his first-ever solo interview on Friday's Loose Women as he spoke about his music career.

The son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, 18, has released his second single Only One after he first started creating music back when he was 15. During the interview, presenter Jane Moore grilled the youngster about his plans for his earnings.

Jane, 61, said: "I'm going to ask you a really sensible grownup question. So you're going to start earning money, are you going to manage your own money, are you learning to budget and spend properly? Not spending it on takeaways!"

To which Junior joked: "I was going to get a Domino's [pizza] last night and I said: 'No, I'm going to cook myself dinner.'" He added: "You have to be careful [with money], otherwise it just goes like that [clicks fingers]. I'm learning.

"Right now, being self-employed, you don't earn money straightaway, sometimes it takes a couple of months for money to come in. Then I get taxed, yeah, I have to pay tax as well!" leaving the Loose Women stars laughing at the latter statement.

Junior went on to discuss how he deals with being compared to his famous parents - Mysterious Girl singer Peter, 50, and former glamour model turned TV personality Katie, 45, who recently vowed to "bring back her empire" after being declared bankrupt in 2019.

The aspiring musician said: "Naturally, a child is always going to be compared to their parents, looks as well. I take my looks from my mum and my dad but overall I just say hard work pays off.

"If you're not good at what you do, you're not going to do well. I'm very determined, I'm going to do well because I really want to do well. That's all I know for myself, I'm going to keep going and I'm just focused on me, myself and I."

Junior also revealed the advice his father had given him ahead of his first solo Loose Women interview. He said: "He's so happy for me, obviously, he was like: 'Good luck! Son, smash it, so proud of you, honestly.'"

The musician's first single Slide came out in June 2022 and immediately shot to the top of the iTunes charts. Now the teenager is hoping to have similar success with his new song after signing a deal with Columbia Records two years ago.
