Woman 'raped' on roundabout in Croydon as police investigate

Police have launched an investigation after a woman was allegedly raped on a roundabout in Croydon.

The horror attack is alleged to have happened in Mitcham town centre at around 2pm on September 12. The Met Police were called to the roundabout just off Park Lane in Croydon at the time, the Sun reports.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing. The woman is said to be being supported by specialist officers. If you believe you could have any information that could support officers with their investigation, you are urged to contact the force on 101, quoting CAD 9314/12Sep.
