Shane Warne's son Jackson shared a touching tribute to his late father on what would have been his 54th birthday by doing three things they loved doing together.

Warne tragically passed away in March 2022 after suffering a heart attack while on holiday in Thailand and 18 months on from his death, Jackson paid a birthday tribute to the Australian cricket legend.

"Today would have been dad's 54th birthday - happy birthday dad," he said in a video shared on social media. "And I thought instead of being sad or posting a story in black and white with a big caption with things that are quite obvious, I'm going to do what dad would have wanted me to do which is be happy and do things that make me happy.

"I've already gone to the gym, but I want to do three things that me and dad used to do together all the time. First one being Maccas [McDonald's]. We'd either get Maccas for lunch or dinner, but at some stage today we'll get Maccas because we loved Maccas.

"Second thing is dad's favourite TV show was Two and a Half Men, but it had to be the episodes with Charlie Sheen. He loved Charlie Sheen and loved Two and a Half Men, so I'll watch an episode of that.

"Thirdly, roulette. Roulette is on par for me and dad with poker and we just loved cheering on a 23 for a spin. So we'll go downstairs and see if we can hit a 23. Happy birthday dad."

23 was Warne's favourite number and the one he wore during his playing career. Jackson also shared clips of him doing all three things he mentioned, starting with watching Two and a Half Men. "You literally cannot make this stuff up," he said.

"I don't even have to use YouTube to look for it [Two and a Half Men, it was the first thing on Fox." The video then cut to Jackson eating a McDonald's burger and giving a big thumbs up.

He also shared a clip inside a casino of a roulette wheel hitting 23, adding: "We just did a few spins and we didn't hit a 23 except the table next us did. So I'm looking at that as a sign that he's still here, that he just wants us to save our money and go back to the room."

Jackson's older sister, Brooke, commented on Instagram : "So cute!!! The day of doing all Dads favourite things, love it Jacko! Lots of lollies, potato cakes, two and a half men and Boston legal ready to go for tonight!! Spot on love you! Should I delete my story".

Younger sister Summer made the same joke, writing: "so does that mean i need to delete my story ?" Mum Simone Callahan, who was married to Warne for six years, wrote: "Beautiful in every sense, Dad would love this so much , we are so proud of you . You are the most amazing wonderful human , love you Freddy !"
