Starfield Nova Galactic Staryard location – The Old Neighborhood quest guide
One of Starfield's earliest missions has you searching for Moara – a contact of Constellations Sarah Morgan. Here's where you can find the Nova Galactic Staryard.
Starfield's Nova Galactic Staryard is one of the first places you'll head to on your adventure through space (assuming you follow the main questline that is). One of the first quests you'll take on after joining Constellation is 'The Old Neighbourhood' which tasks you with finding Moara, who has happened to find one of Starfield's Artifact McGuffins.
Following the quest will take you to the United Colonies HQ, where you'll chat with John Tuala, who will send you towards Cydonia (but not without trying to convince you to join the United Colonies Vanguard faction first). You'll head to Cydonia, which is on Mars in the Sol System, where you'll talk to a bartender who is extremely unhelpful (he'll even try to scam you into paying an overinflated bar tab accrued by Moara) and eventually, you'll be sent looking for the Nova Galactic Staryard.
Starfield Nova Galactic Staryard location
Starfield's Nova Galactic Staryard is found in space near Luna (which is Earth's moon) in the Sol System. You're going to want to select Luna and press set course so that your ship will end up going towards that area. You'll be able to see the Nova Galactic Staryard floating in space in front of Luna.
You'll need to fly your ship within range and then select the Staryard (A on Xbox, E on PC) and select the 'Dock' option. Once you've docked with the Staryard exit your ship and you'll head inside.

Immediately you'll see a corpse, giving you the hint that this isn't like other Starfield Shipyards. As you venture deeper into the Staryard you'll run into a number of Spacers who unsurprisingly aren't keen on the appearance of Constellation. You'll need to start blasting your way through the space station (but be sure to loot your enemies and locked rooms, there are some solid weapons and items on this ship). Eventually, you'll find a Dataslate which has the location of Moara.
You'll need to find the location of his ship (it's next to Neptune), but when you find it, you'll find that it's been hijacked by Spacers. Blast the engines until they fail (but try not to destroy the ship) and dock with the ship, you'll have another firefight in here. Once those hijackers are dealt with, you can find the key to Moara's ship on one of their bodies and meet the man himself who will happily give over the artifact. After that just head back to The Lodge and place the new artifact on the table and you've completed the mission.
Next up, it's probably a good idea to do the Into the Unknown quest, as that's where things start to get very interesting.
