Emmerdale's Gail finally exposed as soap confirms what she's been hiding

Gail has caused quite a stir since she arrived in the Emmerdale village, and now what she's been hiding has finally been unveiled

Emmerdale have finally confirmed what Gail has been hiding on the ITV soap.

She arrived in the Dales earlier this year as a friend of Ryan's but fans have long been suspecting there is something else she is hiding. Gail has become a key part of the team at the Woolpack, and things seem to be blossoming between her and Ryan again.

However, in upcoming scenes, spoilers have confirmed that we will learn what she's been keeping from Ryan and the rest of the villagers. There had been suspicions she has been hiding something but it's all revealed on the soap next week.

Spoilers revealed that Gail heads out for a romantic meal with Ryan, but she soon has to make her excuses to head out and make a phone call. Later, viewers will see her meeting a woman called Sophie at an allotment. The woman has some bad news for Gail about someone called Oscar, but who is Oscar and what connection does she have to them?

Earlier this year, actress Rachael Gill-Davis shared her excitement at signing up to the ITV soap.

"Over the moon to finally announce that I have joined the cast of Emmerdale- I want to say a huge thank you to everyone at @emmerdale who has made me feel so welcome - I am so so grateful and I am loving every minute of it!" she wrote at the time.

Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette about her debut, she added: "I watched Emmerdale growing up so it was so unbelievable meeting the actors who play the characters I’ve been watching for so many years.

"The character of Gail is very much like me. She’s a bit wacky and is into her music. She’s an old friend of Ryan Stocks who turns up and ends up being a possible love interest. This is my first television role so it was daunting but exciting. I’m hoping it will open new doors."

When she arrived, fans were convinced she had something to hide. "I don't trust Gail, there's definitely a reason why she's back other than seeing Ryan #Emmerdale," one viewer mused, whilst a second added: "I think Ryan's friend is after his money or something."
