Serbian Novak Djokovic, who went on to win the competition in the men's singles bracket, broke 11 records, with several extending beyond the record he set years prior. Djokovic won his No. 24 Grand Slam after defeating Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6, 6-3.

The women's singles division witnessed a remarkable achievement by American teen Coco Gauff, who etched her name in tennis history. Gauff's victory at the US Open made her the third American teenager in history to secure this coveted title in the Open Era.
