Soap stars Toby-Alexander Smith and Amy Walsh are officially married after three years together.

Toby-Alexander and Amy, who are known for their roles on EastEnders and Emmerdale respectively, met in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing back in 2019 and went on to strike up a relationship a year later. In December 2021, Toby-Alexander and Amy welcomed their first child.

"Well…it’s been a busy week! Hope you all had a good one. HAPPY NEW YEAR from the three of us," they confirmed the exciting news at the time. They also posted a sweet picture of themselves pushing a pram while looking lovingly at their newborn daughter, Bonnie.

And now, the soap duo revealed to OK! that they secretly tied the knot at Talici Hill Rustic Villa in Montenegro. “It was honestly the most perfect day. It surpassed all my expectations and more. I felt so surprisingly present on the day and loved every second. Now I’m just in pure bliss," Amy told the publication following the wedding.

They exchanged vows at the gorgeous outdoor ceremony in front of their friends and family. Guests included Emmerdale stars Natalie Ann Jamieson, Olivia Bromley, and Louisa Clein. She walked down the steps to the bottom of the aisle with her brother and walked the rest of her way with her dad, John.

"He knows he only has a certain amount of time left, so it was important for him to be there," she said about her father, who has terminal cancer. The couple's beautiful day comes after Toby and Amy announced their engagement on Instagram in August 2022. Toby-Alexander revealed he dropped down on one knee to propose to her during their sunny holiday in Ibiza.

Former Gray Atkins actor Toby shared a selfie of the pair to show off Amy's engagement ring after he popped the question and wrote in the caption: "So this happened". Amy also took to her Instagram page to share three snaps of their Ibiza trip with the caption: "Before During. After."

In the first photo, the couple can be seen smiling over a table at Aiyanna Ibiza, while the second showcased the restaurant's gorgeous interior. The final picture then revealed an over-the-moon Amy posing with her engagement ring as Toby smiled at the camera.

The Emmerdale actress' soap pals rushed to the comment section to congratulate them at the time, with Kimberly Walsh writing: "The best news!" Fellow Emmerdale actress Natalie Ann Jamieson said: "Aw, look at these - absolutely love!!! The most gorgeous news from the most gorgeous couple."

Emma Bunton commented: "Sooo happy for you both. Congratulations." And Michelle Hardwick said: "So so exciting! Gorgeous news."
