Old Ashton Kutcher clips shows bet with Danny Masterson to kiss teenage Mila
A resurfaced clip shows Ashton Kutcher appearing to discuss a bet with his so-called 'brother' Danny Masterson over kissing a then-teenage Mila Kunis.
Masterson was sentenced this week to 30 years in prison for the rape of two women. Both Kutcher and Kunis penned letters vouching for the disgraced actor and convicted rapist before his sentencing, documents show, in which Kutcher referred to Masterson as a "role model". Kunis also commended his "exceptional character". Following outrage from fans, they couple put out a video apologising for any upset caused and explaining why they wrote the letters.
However, a video has since appeared of Kutcher talking to show host Rosie O'Donnell, in which he discusses a bet with Danny over whether to kiss a then 14-year-old Mila Kunis with his tongue. In the chat Mila says: "You made a bet with Danny about my first kiss. I had never kissed a guy. I was a 14-year-old little girl. I was scared for my life.."
Kutcher continues to say: "Danny goes I'll give you $10 if you French kiss her. We had a little side bet going. So Danny bets me like 20 bucks I wouldn't do it". Rosie O'Donnell goes on to joke about calling the cops, to which Kutcher seems to agree.
Another controversial video of Ashton Kutcher saying "we’re waiting for Hillary Duff and the Olsen twins to turn 18" resurfaced on Twitter after the actor vouched for his former co-star and convicted rapist Danny Masterson calling him his "role model."
Ashton Kutcher apologises to Harry Styles for 'acting a jerk' at karaoke partyIn the footage, the young That '70s Show star is seen talking about the up-and-coming star Hillary Duff. Ashton said: "Hillary Duff is in Lizzie McGuire, she also has an album out, she's going to be in a movie called Cheaper By the Dozen, and she's one of the girls that we're all waiting for to turn 18 - along with the Olsen twins."
Since the footage resurfaced, fans on Twitter are reacting to the statement criticising the former Two and a Half Men star calling his comments about the young actresses "gross" and "creepy." One user wrote: "To all the people telling on themselves, it’s not normal to express desire for a child to age quickly so you can sleep with them, plz guzzle a gallon of milk after it’s been in the sun for two weeks thank u," she added: "Predator solidarity stays strong and that was the exact point of showing this video."
Another person Tweeted: "Ugh! Who else remembers how unapologetically creepy dudes were about girls “finally turning 18!” The early 2000s were wild! (As in gross)" And a third added: "I’m old enough to remember an internet countdown to the Olsen Twins’ 18 birthday. It was a gross era."
This resurfaced interview from the early 2000's has circulated on social media as Ashton and his wife Mila Kunis broke their silence following their co-star Masterson being sentenced to prison for the rape of two women. In their shared statement, the two actors apologised for giving the actor letters of support prior to his conviction.
