Ferne McCann shares huge change to First Time Mum series after second child

Ferne McCann has revealed that her hit First Time Mum ITVBe series has undergone a name change after welcoming her second child earlier this year.

The former TOWIE star, 33, took to Instagram on Friday to share the show's new name, revealing it is now called Ferne McCann: My Family & Me. Ferne said in a video update: "I can finally reveal the brand new name of my show... I am very excited to announce that the new name is... Ferne McCann: My Family & Me. Woo, it's out later on this month!"

The series name change comes following the birth of Ferne's second child earlier this year, Finty Francis Haines-McCann, who she welcomed with fiancé Lorri Haines. Ferne also has daughter Sunday, five.

Explaining the show's new name, Ferne said: "I am no longer a first-time mum, so it felt natural that the series would get a refresh to reflect my growing family and I love the new name. I am so excited for this new chapter, and I am looking forward to sharing more of my life with my fans in the new series."

The new series will see Ferne during the highs and lows of her day-to-day life as she raises her daughters, Sunday and Finty. A synopsis from the upcoming season teases: "After a rollercoaster of a year, Ferne is back and stronger than ever. This series, Ferne finally gets her happily ever after, with a new family home and a baby on the way.

"But the honeymoon period with Lorri comes to an abrupt end as tensions rise between the couple while juggling their new business venture, baby preparations and family life, stretching their relationship to its limits. With some surprises thrown in along the way, we join the family in the series finale as they welcome Finty Francis Haines-McCann into the world and follow how Sunday adapts to life as a big sister during a special episode."

It comes as Ferne was recently praised by fans as she embraced her post-baby body in candid new snaps. Taking to Instagram last month, the mother-of-two posted two photos of herself, proudly showing her post-baby body and opened up about her post-pregnancy journey in a heartfelt caption.
