Katie Price has risked angering her ex Peter Andre as their daughter Princess was pictured holding a shot glass, aged 16.

The former glamour model was spotted on a night out with her teen daughter and on/off fiancé Carl Woods. Snaps from the fun evening showed trays of drinks being handed around the table. Princess could be seen taking a glass filled with pink liquid - it is unclear whether the shot contained alcohol.

Katie held her shot glass up to the camera, as Princess clinked hers with someone else at the table. In the UK, it is against the law for under 18s to have someone to sell you alcohol, to buy or try to buy alcohol, for an adult to buy or try to buy alcohol for you or to drink alcohol in licensed premises (such as a pub or restaurant). However, 16 and 17-year-olds accompanied by an adult can drink (but not buy) beer, wine or cider with a meal.

However, a source has now insisted to the Mirror that Princess wasn't drinking alcohol on the evening the image was taken – and the toast was 'set up'. The insider explained: "Princess wasn’t drinking alcohol she asked for Fanta and coke to be on her table, this was just a cheers set up."

However another insider claimed the photo opportunity wouldn't have gone down well with Princess' dad Peter Andre. A source told The Sun: "Peter won't have been happy to see Princess out with her mum holding a shot glass. Even if it wasn't alcohol, it's not the best look for a sixteen year old, especially one in the public eye." Last month, Peter insisted he was proud of his eldest daughter after she didn't pass all of her GCSE exams. Princess opened her results live on Instagram, where she already has 650,000 followers.

As she opened the envelope with more than 2,000 fans watching, the teenager said she hadn’t passed every subject and would have to re-take her Maths exam. Other subjects she scored the equivalent of a D in were Business, Drama and Geography. However, she managed to score a B in Fashion and a C in English, which could be more beneficial to her future job prospects.

Taking to her Instagram stories a few days after getting her results, Princess did an ‘Ask Me Anything’ Q&A with fans. Asked what she was going to do now she had left school, Princess – who has already begun working as a social media influencer and doing collaborations with brands – replied: “I’ll be doing social media and private beauty training xx soooo excited.”

And after landing deals with fashion brands before she’d even taken her exams, mum Katie and dad Peter, who separated in 2009 and are also parents to 18-year-old Junior, say they are so “proud” of Princess. The teenager recently signed a four-figure contract to become an ambassador for fashion brand PrettyLittleThing. She also looks to be involved with fashion website Shein and regularly posts discounts codes for her social media followers to use.

The Mirror has contacted representatives for Katie Price, Peter Andre and Princess Andre.
