Jack Whitehall delights fans as he pokes fun of himself in new hospital snap
Jack Whitehall poked fun at how he looked in hospital scrubs after welcoming his first child with girlfriend Roxy Horner.
The comedian, 35, who is famous for his father and son television show Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father, and his girlfriend, 32, shared the first snaps of their newborn daughter after Roxy gave birth on Tuesday. After sharing his joy about becoming a doting father, he returned to his usual playful self in a new post.
He took to his Instagram page to post a picture of himself wearing hospital scrubs and a hairnet. He gave the camera a peace sign while standing in front of the bed as he carried a black handbag and placed fairy lights on his shoulder. "Imagine coming into the world and this being the first thing you see," Jack joked.
Fans thought the photo was hilarious and took to the comment section to add their own jokes. One user said: "Thankfully she never would have remembered. But thanks to this photo...she'll never be able to forget. Such fun!" while another posted: "Don’t worry because newborns can’t really see you until about 8weeks."

It comes a day after Jack shared the first snaps of his daughter in a sweet photo of himself cradling her. Jack also shared a photo of himself smiling enthusiastically while sitting beside model Roxy while she held her baby girl in her hospital bed.

Jack even managed to coordinate the colour of his jumper with the hospital bedsheets that Roxy was wrapped up in. Sharing the snaps with his fans, Jack penned a touching message about his daughter. He wrote: “Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
"In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever.” He continued: “So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid. I also wore skechers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full blown dad now.”
While Jack and Roxy have not yet revealed the name of their daughter, Jack teased that he might name his girl after Arsenal footballer Declan Rice who scored for the team in a match against Manchester United on Sunday. Jack wrote: “Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it.”
