Jade Goody’s mum slams Jeff Brazier and warns she plans to 'let rip' about him
Bobby Brazier’s triumphant National Television Awards win has been slightly soured after his grandmother lashed out at his father, Jeff Brazier, on the grounds of the glitzy event.
The biggest names in British television descended on London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night to celebrate the brightest and best of the small screen. And 20-year-old Bobby was overwhelmed when he scooped the Rising Star award for his work portraying Freddie Slater on long-running BBC soap EastEnders.
Proud dad Jeff, 44, was in tears as he watched from the side of the stage as his eldest son collect the gong. However, Bobby’s grandmother Jackiey Budden, 66 - who is the mother of late Big Brother contestant Jade Goody who died in March 2009 aged 27 after battling cancer - was also at the event after buying herself a ticket to be in the audience.
Jackiey - who herself featured on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 - is proud grandmother to both Bobby and 19-year-old Freddie, who Jade welcomed during her two-year romance with Jeff. But it seems that Jackiey is not a fan of the father of her grandsons.

They claim Jackiey was overheard saying: “I’m so proud of him [Bobby].

"He’s incredible. They didn’t know I was there. I didn’t allow them to know I was there. I didn’t want to see their dad. He’s a c**k. But I’m going to wait until they’re older before I let rip.” The Mirror has approached representatives for Jeff for comment on this story.
Bobby made it very clear while accepting his award on Tuesday night that the support of his father was the key to his success. He said after being handed his award: “This actually has very, very, very little to do with me and everything to do with my Dad.

And he has previously confessed to fans that he’s not always been so close to his grandmother. The soap actor told fans in 2021 that he had been reconnecting with Jackiey after they had lost contact.
He said during an Instagram chat with fans: “I didn’t see her for ages - for way too long - but I went to see her twice recently. And honestly if there’s one woman you shouldn’t underestimate it’s my nan. Honestly, she’s like a wizard! It’s nuts.”
