Liverpool left 'torn' over Salah transfer after dressing room feelings emerge
Members of the Liverpool hierarchy are reportedly 'torn' over whether or not to accept a world-record transfer offer from Al-Ittihad for Mohamed Salah.
Salah, 31, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation for weeks and will continue to be linked with a lucrative transfer to the Middle East until the Saudi transfer window shuts on Thursday.
Al-Ittihad have already had a £150million bid turned down by Liverpool, but the Saudi Pro League outfit are expected to return in the next 48 hours with an improved bid worth £215m including add-ons: a deal which would eclipse the current transfer record.
According to The Sun, some members of the Liverpool hierarchy are torn over whether or not to cash in on their talisman in the wake of the huge £215m fee on offer. The fact that the Reds would be unable to buy a replacement for Salah until January is likely to make it even harder to come to a decision if - or when - a world-record bid is lodged.
Although Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Salah is not for sale, the report goes on to outline that the Egyptian's camp would be willing to consider an offer.

Salah has scored 188 goals in just 309 appearances for the Reds since moving to Anfield in 2017 and was influential in Sunday's 3-0 win over Aston Villa, where he scored the final goal of the afternoon.
Andy Robertson made it clear after the match that nobody in the Liverpool dressing room is concerned that Salah will be prised away in the coming days. He said: "For us we block that out, Mo blocks it out. We let other people talk about that.
"For us there is no concern. For us Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool player and we believe that is what is going to be the case for the foreseeable future."
The Scotland international also praised Salah's attitude, hinting that speculation had not affected him in the slightest. He added: "He's the ultimate professional. He does what it does, he is one of the best players in the world and he is professional."
